Description succincte:
On behalf of the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through its Special Initiative on displacement the Qualifications and Employment Perspectives for Refugees and Host Communities in Ethiopia Programme (QEP) supports the Ethiopian government in the implementation of the Global Compact on Refugees (GCR) by improving employment perspectives of refugees and host communities across the country: in Addis Ababa and in four regions: Somali, Benishangul-Gumuz, Tigray and through a Norwegian contribution in Gambella. The programme establishes linkages between the vocational training sector and the labour market. In 2020 the programme received further funding from BMZ for the implementation of a fourth action field for the institutional anchoring of inclusive vocational training and employment. QEP strengthens the capacities of relevant actors in the sectoral implementation of the new Refugee Proclamation.
