It is the European subsidiary of the RUSI and works for a safer and more stable Europe. RUSI Europe is the current service provider of the ongoing 2022 contract. The aim is to negotiate directly with the existing provider. RUSI Europe continues to benefit from RUSI’s long standing expertise in the area of EU external policies, development and preventing and countering violent extremism (P/CVE). RUSI is the world's oldest independent think tank on international defence and security. A unique institution, founded in 1831 by the Duke of Wellington, RUSI embodies nearly two centuries of forward thinking, free discussion and careful reflection on defence and security matters. RUSI enjoys an enviable international reputation as the leading authority on UK and international defence and security issues. Through its research programmes, RUSI promotes the study of selected national and international P/CVE issues among others. Through its programme of lectures, conferences and seminars, RUSI provides a forum for discussion of all aspects of national and international defence and security, including P/CVE, set in a wide international context.
